Bardiya Wildlife Safari and Birdwatching
Four full days in Bardiya's tiger country, timed around the best light at dawn and dusk.
9 days and 83 birds recorded on this route.
Best months: February to May and October to November.
1 / 5
Nine quiet days in Bardiya, Nepal's wildest lowland park, with far fewer people than Chitwan. Krishna plans each day around the dawn and dusk light: grassland and sal forest for Great Slaty Woodpeckers and hornbills, the Karnali for gharials, River Terns and Ibisbill, and patient waits where tigers cross. Made for photographers and wildlife lovers who like to wait for the moment.
Birds to look for
None of them is promised: wild birds keep their own plans.
